ZippedScript Docs
Guides, API reference, and examples for setting up and automating document workflows.
Documentation overview
ZippedScript is a document workflow platform that handles drafting, routing, approval, and filing for ops teams. This documentation covers how to set up your account, create templates and routing rules, and connect integrations.
Quickstart
Set up your workspace, create your first template, and route a document in under 15 minutes.
API Reference
Full reference for the ZippedScript REST API. Trigger workflows, query document status, and manage templates programmatically.
Platform concepts
ZippedScript is built around three core concepts:
- Templates are reusable document structures. Define the fields, conditional sections, and formatting once. Generate consistent documents every time.
- Routing rules define where a document goes after it's created. Rules can be conditional (send to legal only if contract value exceeds a threshold) or linear (always goes to manager, then finance).
- Workflows combine a template with routing rules into a complete process. Trigger a workflow manually, via API, or on a schedule.
